1990 - Owner Tony Moogan from Liverpool, England bought the "Two Drops of Scotch" on Lincoln Blvd. and installed a huge satellite dish on the roof - Tony just happened to have a friend in England who was feeding live English First Division games to Australia, the friend gave him the secret coordinates and Tony was able pick up the first English league game shown in the US - and made American broadcasting soccer history. Richard Branson a die hard Crystal Palace fan watched one of the earliest broadcast matches.
